The Springs is a new resort, still under contruction, but you really don't notice. From the moment you pull up to it you will realize what a wonderful place this is. The views are incredible, there is amazing woodwork all over this hotel. Very interesting design, the entire back of the hotel is open air, all 5 floors. So everything looks out over the Arenal Volcano.

The Springs is a new resort, still under contruction, but you really don't notice. From the moment you pull up to it you will realize what a wonderful place this is. The views are incredible, there is amazing woodwork all over this hotel. Very interesting design, the entire back of the hotel is open air, all 5 floors. So everything looks out over the Arenal Volcano.

The rooms are spacious, with huge windows overlooking the volcano, you also have a really large patio with table, chairs and a hammock. The rooms are really well done, have a plasma TV, huge bathrooms with a giant tub. They have thought of everything.

There are pools, waterfalls and hot springs everywhere 18 in all. The pool bar is fantastic with the best sushi I have ever had.

With only 18 rooms you feel like the place is all yours.

One note- the elevator was not working yet when we were there, so if you can't do alot of stairs, this place would be tough for you right now. Once the hotel is complete this won't be a problem.

This place is top notch. I wouldn't hesitate to go again! We stayed at 5 hotels on our trip and this one was by far everyones favorite.

Stayed 2 nights at this magnificent resort and hope to return again soon. Our Vista Room was large, comfortable, and beautifully furnished and in addition, had a great view of the Arenal Volcano.

We dined at all of the restaurants on site. Food was well prepared, reasonably priced and great service. We had dinner one night at Las Ventanas and were able to see lights of surrounding cities for several miles.

The multi-level pools and hot springs throughout the property were gorgeous, lushly landscaped and well maintained. One of the pools offered a swim up bar (La Laguna Bar) with wicker chairs submerged around the bar for comfortable seating while having a cocktail in the pool.

Many thanks to the wonderful staff who went above and beyond to make sure that we had everything needed to make our stay perfect.

One word to describe The Springs - "HEAVEN". Even during construction, the place is fabulous! The staff is very attentive and enjoyable. The food (I mainly had chicken) was terrific. The facility itself is kept extremely clean. During our 2.5 day stay, the pools were being cleaned on a rotated basis. The rooms and views were out of this world. The stay at The Springs was the highlight of our 10 day vacation to Costa Rica. The Springs is a vacation on its own merit and definitely worth the drive from La Fortuna.
