Cabo Blanco Biological Reserve Nature Hike Join your Naturalist Guide on an interesting nature hike through one of the most beautiful scenic sites on the Pacific Coast, Cabo Blanco Biological Reserve. Cabo Blanco is a marine bird sanctuary for species like brown pelicans, magnificent frigate birds, and brown boobies. Some of the attractions that make Cabo Blanco such an interesting and beautiful wilderness area are its dense semi-deciduous forest, deep-blue sea with islands that serve as important nesting sites for marine birds and animals, such as white-tailed deer, three species of monkeys, agoutis, coyotes, wild cats. Montezuma Waterfall Experience (Different activities) Montezuma, a unique spot near the tip of the Nicoya Peninsula is a charming little village that has a bit of everything: lovely rocky and sandy beaches, islands, rivers, forest, waterfalls and a friendly atmosphere. We take you on a tour of the area. Most people desire a visit to the waterfalls, which includes a 30 minute hike (depending on conditions) through the forest and the chance to enjoy a very relaxing swim in a natural poll under the 60 foot falls. Take an unforgettable horseback ride through Hacienda Arío, a 5000 acre, family-owned ranch only 4 miles up north from Florblanca Resort (15 min drive, transfer or quad), where development has been kept at bay due to limited access through private holdings and natural buffers of estuaries, rivers and mangroves. The property runs parallel to a pristine stretch of coastline, called Manzanillo Beach. Sport fishing Costa Rica is an angler’s dream come true. We offer great deep sea fishing, billfish being our biggest attraction, particularly sailfish and marlin. However, fishermen regularly hook plenty of wahoo, roosterfish, yellow fin tuna and mahi-mahi among other feisty fighters. It is also common to encounter whales and numerous dolphins during the fishing trips.
